Heavy Equipment Operator

REPORTS TO:                 Mill Services Manager

Phoenix Services, LLC offers marketing-focused slag scrap management, innovative production support, intelligent transport and handling logistics, professional maintenance, customized protective packaging, and technology-driven project management.

Job Description:

• Operate various heavy mobile equipment.
• Comply with all safety regulations and policies.
• Load/off-load materials in designated areas.
• Conducts pre op and post op inspections.
• Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access.
• Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions & report to the maintenance department, effectively.
• Upkeep and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling.

Skills

• Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment
• A team and safety-oriented mentality
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time & lift up to 40lbs.
• Knowledge of bulk materials
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
